First two pics are just for fun. This little girl is 3, and FULL of character. Seriously, I got the biggest kick out of her. I can tell my focus is off in some, if not all, of these pics. ARGH! Practice makes perfect!

What is that orange on the side of this pic? Yikes.....gotta go figure out what that is all about. Cute anyway though!

These kids were sweet! They didn't have the little "attitude" with their parents that I have ran into while taking pics. They were just good kids. I felt like they were my nephew and nieces. I didn't have time to post a lot, but here are a few.

Big brother was so handsome I had to get one of him too! This little baby was as good as gold, and beautiful to boot! Some of them aren't as focused/crisp as they should be, but still cute. She made me wish I was a really awesome photographer, so I could really capture her beauty. She was in no hurry, just calm and relaxed.

Love this one with her name. She is totally peeking at me.

After 3 miscarriages, and 8 years between kids, these parents are as happy as can be with this little guy. The only downfall is the lighting just wasn't the best. It really made me want to get working on a home studio. As much as I love natural light---it doesn't always work in my favor.

What a handsome guy huh?

And boy was he a bug lover! All boy, I guess you could say.

His Mom was even nice enough to try and catch bugs for him. If you look close you can see she's almost got a little white butterfly.

My skin was crawling when I edited this one. It reminds me of my kids when they throw temper tantrums.....

Off to hunt more bugs...........

These kiddos are in my ward. They have beautiful brown eyes. We had fun blowing bubbles, and throwing rocks up the canyon. Maddie was finding "heart" shaped rocks, and Colton was finding "dinosaur" shaped rocks! :-) We even made it home without getting bit by any of the horseflies!

God Bless America

This was my attempt to capture the care free spirit of American children. I remember a few summers ago, watching a show on child labor in India. It broke my heart. A few days later I was at a swim park where I got to watch kids having fun and being care free. They had Celine Dion singing 'God Bless America' over their sound system. It made me stop and think about how lucky my kids are to live in America. I thought these pictures captured their care free spirits well! Happy 4th!

These kiddos kept me on my toes! They were very active and adventurous! They had beautiful long lashes that I kept trying to capture. We were wondering if we had gotten any good ones, but it looks like we did! Thanks Liz--it was fun!

Railroad Museum

I found a fun place to take pics in Tooele. This is a railroad museum and it's FREE. That makes it twice as nice. It had some cute places to shoot. I only took a few of the shots that I could have. Breck was in his carrier, strapped to my front, so it was hard to maneuver these without him pulling at the camera strap! If anyone is interested in a shoot in Tooele let me know. The only downside is it's only open from 1-4p.m which makes for some pretty harsh sunlight. I love these pics because they are very candid. The only picture I "posed" them for was the first one. I was basically shooting on the run. Typical with kids I guess. We were only there about 20 minutes.

Gracie picked this flower and held it out to show me just as I snapped this one.

His birth announcement. So precious! The lettering on the diaper is a little off, but if I moved the "2008" over the "inches" was off the diaper. Should've wrote each line separate. I'll have to go fix it. Oh well, it's still cute; nothing fancy, but cute.

This little guy is only 5 days old! What a cutie! Great eye contact! I think I need to change my business name to Close Ups Galore, because I LOVE close ups. As you can tell. I just don't think the full body ones I take turn out as good. Maybe with time.....

This is my beautiful niece Megan. I have to give my sister credit. She had just had dental work done, and was in a lot of pain. She also had no make up on, but was great about getting a few shots with her last little one. Since this is her last baby, I thought it was awesome that I got to capture these beautiful shots for her. I may post more soon. There are too many to choose from. Thanks Tina!
